Chile is head-of-series #1 in the World Championship quarterfinals

The group stage of the Women's World Championship of rink hockey ended tuesday night designating the names of the eight teams qualified to the quarterfinals.




The rules of the championship states that the teams had to be put in order from 1st to 8th for generating the pairings of the knockout tournament that will lead to the finals of saturday.
The first position goes to Chile that is the winner of a group which made the best in the first phase. Argentina is second, while Spain in third. Among the teams that ended at the second place of the groups, Germany lead over Portugal and Italy. Two team qualified to the quarterfinals despite the third place in their group: Colombia and France.
The quarterfinals begins on thursday with this pairings and timing:
5.00 PM - Germany vd Portugal
6.30 PM - Spain vs Italy
8.00 PM - Chile vs France
9.30 PM - Argentina vs Colombia
The remaining five team (USA, South Africa, India, Egypt and Brazil) will play a group to determine the position between the 9th and the 13th. The first two match of this group will be played on wednesday:
9.30 AM - Egypt vs India
11.00 AM - USA vs South Africa.
