The first U19 tournament of the WRG Barcelona 2019 has its winner. After six days of competition, Andorra won yesterday the Intercontinental Cup, winning all the six game scheduled, and hold the cup.
Captain Liam Pallares said: "We trained hard for this results and we are very proud of what we did. England and Mozambique are good team and defeating them wasn't so easy".
Coach Roger Collar said: "We'd like to compete against the main teams and this is our first step on this path. Now we have one year to prepare next European Championship and get a place in the World Skate Games 2021 in Argentina".
The second place went to Great Britain and the third to Mozambique.
Yesterday afternoon, the 7th/8th and 5th/6th finals of the U19 World Championship were played. Chile got the 5th place winning against Colombia, while Switzerland conquered the 7th position defeating USA.
