Today, Asuncion 2020 Logo has been unveiled during a press conference hold at the Paraguayan Olympic Committe by  Lorena Veiluva, CPP President and Nicola Genchi, World Skate Artistic Technical Commission Chairman.

Julio Ferrari, Pro Secretary of the Paraguayan Olympic Commitee and Rodrigo Medina, Sport Deputy Ministry welcomed the press attending the presentation. 

Lorena Veiluva, CPP President said: "Keeping on with the responsibilities set to the host cities, we advocated ourselves in developing a corporate image with the purpose of promotion as well as the look and feel during the Artistic Skating World Championships Asunción 2020 through a unique concept that will be impregnated in all the spectators of the event. After a series of meetings with a lot of designer, we decided that the approach presented by the visual, branding and packaging expert Mrs. Laura Piñeiro was the more suitable for the event."

Mrs. Pinero’s proposal manages to materialize a series of ideas, such as our wildlife and wild places, the world second largest freshwater reserve on the planet the Guaraní aquifer and Asuncion`s historic sites, using a selection of colors of our preference, following traces of an aesthetic called neo-Guarani art.
