Everything about today’s finals was on another level. The sold out crowd was alive and engaged, pushing everyone’s skating to its limits. Brazil got behind its people on the course in a seriously loud and energizing way, giving everyone that skated a measurable lift.
You could feel it and you could see it in everyone competing. Professional skateboarding at its finest, pushed to a level that only a crowd and a contest like this could encourage. The elite of the elite went head to head in both men’s and women’s events.
With the skating pushed to new levels in women’s and more nine clubs in men’s than should be possible. We’re more than grateful for everyone involved and want to congratulate all that skated today. Look for a full recap coming soon!
